Dead Men's Path POV

In the story Dead Men's Path, we are told what happens through the character Obi's eyes. He views himself as a educated, modern person and the villagers as uneducated, clueless people. When people were passing though his school, he thought that it was something unmodern for the school, which is why he blocked the path.

Yet, Obi doesn't realize that the opposite is actually true. If the story was told through one of the villagers eyes, we would see Obi as an annoying, clueless person. The path was a major thing that the villagers needed and when Obi blocked it, it made them think he was an annoying and ignorant person.
