Patriotism

                              America is a patriotic country. Many countries are not like us. We have patriotic citizens that want to keep their country safe. Without patriotism there would be madness.

                              The citizens are the main reason that patriotism still exists in our country. Many people help others with medical problems. Even people with normal jobs are patriots. Citizens who work at businesses still help their country. And a few people do very odd jobs so we don’t have to. Some people even risk their life to keep the country safe. They would rather die than have the country over run by hostile people.

                              Some people do the small things. Like pick up trash that is at the side of the road. Or do jobs for people. They also just help people in general. Everyone likes to be helped so why not help them. People could also recycle, save energy/water, and not throw waste into lakes, rivers or oceans. If more people recycled, there would be more trees. If people saved energy and water there would be more for other people. Also if people did not throw trash and other waste into lakes, rivers, and oceans there would be no pollution.

                              Even though many people help their country, some don’t. These people are usually criminals who break major laws like theft. They don’t help their country in any way, they make it worse. The others only break minor laws like speeding. But just because they’re minor laws it doesn’t mean it doesn’t hurt the country. Everything effects the country in some way, it could be a bad effect or good effect.

                              It is good that that the U.S is a patriotic country. If it wasn't, the country would be a horrible place to be.
