Soda

Soda is a character in the story "The Outsiders". He was usually able to stay calm when something happened and was normally kind of laid back. On page 116, he said that "yeah I like fights" as if it was no big deal. Later in the book, he started to lose his calm behavior.

Soda was always kind of laid back through out most of the story. He never usually worried about anything that happened. Usually he didn't get into any trouble and he stayed calm when something happened.

Towards the end of the story, Soda became less of a laid back person. When Johnny died, he became more serious at times. Also when his girlfriend moved to Florida, he became sad more often. 

In the story, Ponyboy had mostly viewed Soda as a laid back and calm person, but his behavior changed towards the end. He had become more serious and got sad a little bit easier.
