The Village Doctor-Hero of the Century

The village doctor was not a very nice or helpful person. He only helped if money was involved. But one day, he decided to change that.
    The village doctor always needed to be paid money before he would help anyone. When a disease spread throughout the village, he decided to change his ways. He helped everyone, including the people who had no money at all. By stopping the disease, he was looked upon as a hero. Later, when people went to him for help, he did it without ever asking for money. For this act, he was given the hero of the century award.
    Even though the village doctor was not the most helpful person, he changed his ways and helped the village. Giving him the hero of the century award.
